Privacy policy
No forms, no cookies, no advertising trackers. Here is exactly what happens when you call.
This policy describes what roofingcontractortampa.net collects, why, and who it is shared with. It is written to describe what actually happens rather than to cover every theoretical possibility.
What this site does not collect
There is no contact form, no newsletter sign-up, no account, and no login. This site does not ask you to type anything, and it does not store a database of visitor details. If you never call, we hold nothing that identifies you.
When you call
The telephone number on this site is a tracked number operated through a third-party call-tracking provider. When you call it, that provider records call metadata: the number you called from, the time and date, the duration of the call, and how the call was routed. This is how the site is paid, and it is how we know which pages generate calls.
If call recording is enabled on the line, you will be told at the start of the call before the call connects, and you can end the call at that point if you do not wish to be recorded.
Your call is connected to an independent roofing contractor. Whatever you tell that contractor — your name, address, and what is wrong with your roof — is held by them, under their own privacy practices, not ours. They are the party you would be contracting with, and they are separate from this site.
Analytics
This site does not currently run analytics of any kind. No page-view counter, no advertising network, no retargeting pixel and no social media tracker is loaded on any page. You can verify that by viewing the source of any page here.
If that changes, it will be a cookieless service that counts page views without fingerprinting your device or tracking you across other websites, and this policy will be updated to say so.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. Because of that, there is no cookie consent banner — there is nothing to consent to. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies for security and to serve the site.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and requested URLs, for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. These are retained for a limited period and are not used to build a profile of you.
Who your information is shared with
- The roofing contractor your call is connected to. That is the purpose of the call.
- Our call-tracking provider, which handles the routing and the call records.
- Our hosting provider, to the extent described above.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Your choices
The only information we receive about you comes from calling the number, so the most direct choice is not to call. If you have called and want to know what a contractor holds about you, contact that contractor directly — they are the data controller for what you told them. Children
This site is intended for adult homeowners and property owners. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. Material changes to how information is handled will be described rather than quietly substituted.
